What Does the R in R-Quest Stand For?
The three-fold purpose of the agency:
1. R-Quest serves as a RESOURCE
Information and referral about nutritional health, mental health issues and recovery issues is available by contacting R-Quest. The resource library consists of books, videos, educational brochures and referral lists. Also available are public service seminars and trainings.
2. R-Quest is a safe place for RECOVERY
Individuals and families seeking support and treatment for alcohol and drug problems or other addictions can find help at R-Quest.
3. R-Quest helps people REBUILD their lives
R-Quest therapists work as a team with marriage family therapists, medical doctors and psychiatrists in the community to assist and support all efforts towards health; physical health and emotional health; psychological health and spiritual health.

Marcy Hawkins, ICADCII, CCGC, is the founder and director of R-Quest Counseling, with over 10 years experience in the field of addiction recovery. She is internationally certified as an Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor with specialized training in pathological gambling, eating disorders and family interventions. Marcy's private practice specializes in counseling women in early recovery and with couples rebuilding their lives while living in recovery.

Lory Markle Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II) Addictions Counselor

Lory Markle serves as an individual and family addictions counselor, group facilitator and instructor for relapse prevention groups. Prior to joining R-Quest, Lory worked at an inpatient facility in the Catskills of New York.

Margo Wagner Intern - Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor

Margo Wagner joined R-Quest as a Registered Drug and Alcohol Counselor in August of 2010. She received her training as a counselor at California State East Bay and earned a BA in Sociology from San Francisco State University in 2007. Her passion for chemical dependency counseling started in 2006 when she was trained as a helpline volunteer at the National Council on Alcoholism and other Drug Addiction in San Francisco. Margo also works at a residential treatment center in Sausalito. She loves working with people and is dedicated to empowering her clients and helping them reach their full potential through recovery.

Grace Shih Nutrition Consultant
Grace Shih, RD, MS, is a registered dietician on staff to assist clients with any issues concerning special diet needs, eating disorders and general healthy eating for optimal health and well-being, which is a part of the complete recovery process.
